What it does
Electroporation applies short electric pulses that temporarily increase permeability of the skin barrier, allowing larger molecules to pass than passive diffusion would allow.
What matters in a device
Pulse shape, voltage and duration must be controlled precisely, and electrode contact with the skin must be reliable. This is an area where the control electronics dominate the result.
