Quality control is split into gates, each with a recorded check and a defined reaction when it fails.
Incoming inspection (IQC)
Components and materials are checked against specification on receipt. Non-conforming material does not enter the line.
In-process inspection (IPQC)
Checks during assembly and at each process boundary, so a defect is caught at the station where it happens rather than at the end.
Final inspection (OQC)
Finished units are functionally tested and inspected before packing. Sampling follows the standard agreed in the order, not a number chosen after the fact.
Aging
Units run before packing. Aging is where intermittent faults surface; skipping it moves the failure to your customer.
Reliability testing
Drop, stacking and life-cycle testing depending on the model. Where certification is required, testing is carried out by third-party laboratories and the reports are shipped with the order.
